About Me

Learning and Growing

In both tutoring and D&D I believe in an individualized approach driven by data. I think the most effective way to learn is to understand where one’s weaknesses are, and then systematically address them, ensuring you have no gaps in your mastery by the end.

All learning, including math and language, should be proficiency based. Everything should be based on increasing what you can do, not dwelling on what you can’t do. I believe in a growth mindset, and reframing things you haven’t learned as “things you haven’t learned yet

Let's talk with me.
A Journey Not a Destination

D&D is about storytelling, and learning is about getting tools to succeed in life. I believe that the ultimate goal is mastery and true understanding, not just a perfect score on a test (though that can be really nice too).

Both in my business and in my personal life I strive for mastery because the journey to get there can be extremely rewarding. I think that journey has immense beauty and value, and I want to share it with others.
